There is an initial free consultation for every case (up to 15 minutes). After the consultation and scheduling, this time, an individualized plan will be made and a fee will be discussed. The fee is due in full at the first appointment, or in installments (half at the first appointment, half at the feedback session). If an independent educational evaluation is being funded by the school district, the fee is due within 2 weeks of the receipt of the report.

After an initial 15-minute consultation, we will provide you with a Good Faith Estimate of any prospective services and then begin the intake process for your first visit. Our goal will be to gain insight into your situation in order to guarantee any assessment is as helpful and accurate as possible.
After intake, the testing and examination portion of the assessment will begin. This can include This might involve either paper-and-pencil or computerized tests, as well as questionnaires for parents, family members or teachers to complete.

In order to prevent delays and additional fees, please complete any intake paperwork prior to your appointment.
On the day of your appointment, plan on having an adult family member or friend who knows you will accompany you to the interview process if possible. They’ll be helpful in providing additional information about your daily functioning.
Please get a good night’s sleep and eat before the appointment, as the evaluation lasts several hours and bring any relevant medical records and previous neuropsychological reports. You are welcome to pack a snack or small meal in case a break is required.

Due to the constraints placed on our services by insurance companies, we do not participate with any health insurance plans. We are happy to provide you with an invoice for you to file a claim with your insurance company. Wellesley Neuropsychology and Assessment would be considered an out-of-network provider. Note that most insurances do not cover academic or ADHD testing. We will provide you with a Good Faith Estimate for our services after our 15-minute free consultation.
